We are welcoming the new season with some exciting news: our fourth album, Rituæls, will be released on October 25, 2024 with Analekta. The first single has just been released this morning, O vis æternitatis by Hildegard von Bingen, and you can listen at the link below.
Rituæls was first released as a film-concert in 2020, before we finally performed the show live in 2022, first in Montréal and then on tour around Québec, Ontario, and the United States. The programme features works by Hildegard von Bingen, Arvo Pärt, Michael Tippett, Nicole Lizée, Bryce Dessner, and Jocelyn Morlock. We are so thankful for the generous spirit of our many artistic collaborators, particularly Montréal-based Nicole Lizée, who has been one of our favourite artistic partners over the past few years, and a profound and sensitive musical voice that we all miss, the late Jocelyn Morlock.
Rituæls is a special programme of music, one that is personal and imaginative. We look forward to finally sharing this album with you!
